This game is pinball machine and work of art in equal measure. Aesthetically its the best there is, bar none. Our machine has recently had a full cabinet refurbishment too, making it easily the best looking machine in the collection. Interestingly, the display is actually under the glass in the cabinet, unlike any other machine in the collection.
Perhaps remembered as the second best pinball machine Bally-Williams released in 1997 after Medieval Madness, and perhaps overshadowed to an extent by Medieval Madness, Cirqus Voltaire perhaps hasnt achieved the same level of fame as some of the standout machines produced by Bally-Williams. Released just four months later, with the popularity of pinballs in rapid decline, Cirqus Voltaire saw a production run of little over 2,500 units, around 1/8th of the number of TAF produced and around 1/6th of the number of TTZs produced. We suspect that it was this tiny production run, driven by the plummeting popularity of pinball, prevented people from playing this absolute gem.
For those who have had the pleasure of playing or owning Cirqus Voltaire, it seems to be an absolute stand-out with rave reviews. We are no different, TAF aside its our absolute favourite here eclipsing even The Twilight Zone.
